Nur Jahan (1577-1645) - 1st  row both left & right

Nur Jahan, born Mehr-un-Nissa was the chief wife and empress consort of the Mughal emperor Jahangir. Nur Jahan was born Mehr-un-Nissa, the daughter of a Grand Vizier who served under Akbar. Nur Jahan was a powerful and influential woman in the court. She was a remarkable leader in a male-dominated world.

She was a poet, an excellent hunter and also an innovative architect. Her design for her parents' tomb in Agra later inspired the construction of the Taj Mahal. She killed 4 tigers with 6 musket shots sitting atop an Elephant. The elephant wouldn’t be standing still standing next to a furious tiger. she is considered by some historians to have been the real power behind the throne for more than fifteen years.

P. S. Nur Jahan holding a musket in the left Painting and holding a wine cup in the right painting. That was pretty rare for the time and that shows how brave she was.

Begum Hazrat Mahal (1820-1879) - 2nd row  left

Begum Hazrat Mahal, was the second wife of Nawab of Awadh Wajid Ali Shah, and the regent of Awadh in 1857–1858. She is known for the leading role she had in the rebellion against the British East India Company during the Indian Rebellion of 1857.

Humayun (1508 – 1556) - 2nd Row right

Nasir-ud-Din Muhammad was son of Babar, better known by his regnal name, Humayun, was the second emperor of the Mughal Empire, who ruled over territory in what is now Eastern Afghanistan, Pakistan, Northern India, and Bangladesh from 1530 to 1540 and again from 1555 to 1556.
