Shipping policy
Domestic Shipping:
1. At Purathanam, we take great care in packing and delivering your products to you. Our domestic courier partner are Blue Dart, DTDC and GATI.
2. Depending on the package size and weight we choose the courier partners. Shipping within India is FREE for all orders above Rs.10,000/-
3 . Once the order is confirmed, You will receive the order confirmation with the order number. The product will be shipped to you in 5 working days. Once shipped we’ll mail the tracking details with which the shipment can be tracked online.
4. The delivery period of the products would differ with each courier partners. Delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions and strikes. Usually the product would be delivered within 10-15 days.
5. Address change will be accepted only if the order has not been shipped.
6. Express delivery is available on request with additional charges (FedEx and Blue dart)
International Shipping:
1. Our international shipping partners are India post, Om International courier cargo services (agent) and FedEx.
2. The shipping costs are not included in the net order total. International shipping charges are calculated as per the volumetric measurement of the plywood box we make for the products and also it depends on the the courier partners. For shipments out of India, any custom duty levied will be borne by the customer.

4. Apart from the shipping charges there would be an additional fumigation charges as per the shipping company mandate. Fumigation charged has become mandatory in most of the countries after the pandemic. Fumigation is a method of killing, suffocating or poisoning the pests within a specific area by using fumigants.
5. We ship certain products in plywood box. A plywood box made with two latches and would have two locks on it. This has been made mandatory for ease of checking by Customs. The keys to the lock is stuck to the box enclosed in an envelope. Purathanam recommends this packaging method to the clients for its utmost safety during the transit.
