A graceful sculptural head of Gauri / Parvati, crafted in brass and finished in a rich copper-toned surface, mounted on a wooden pedestal.

The sculpture captures Parvati with a calm and composed presence. The raised patterns around the crown, ears and neck add depth to the sculptural form, while the warm copper-toned finish gives the sculpture a rich, glowing presence.

Made in brass and originating from coastal Karnataka, South India, this is a relatively recent piece that draws upon the region’s long tradition of expressive metalwork.

Mounted on a simple wooden pedestal, the sculpture has a strong, grounded presence and can be displayed beautifully as a standalone object on a console, shelf or side table. It can also be paired with the accompanying Shiva Head - Brass as a representation of the divine couple.
