Here is a beautiful Camel made of solid brass using a cast. This method was first used in the 70's but very prevalent in the 80's. One extremely popular enamel art in India is meenakari, which involves embellishing the surface of gold with beautiful colours to enhance its radiance. The artist has designed the top most portion of the camel’s saddle in 'Ek rang khula meenakari”. Meaning with one single color design (green) and the bottom portion of the saddle he /she has embellished with other colors.

This camel is 30-40 years old and from North India.
