Mariam-uz-Zamani, commonly known by the misnomer Jodha Bai, was the chief consort and principal Rajput wife as well as the favourite empress consort of the third Mughal emperor, Akbar. She was also the longest-serving Hindu empress of the Mughal Empire with a tenure of forty-three years.

Nur Jahan, born Mehr-un-Nissa; was the chief wife and empress consort of the Mughal emperor Jahangir. She was the twentieth and last wife of Jahangir. Nur Jahan was a powerful and influential woman in the court.

Nur-ud-Din Muhammad Salim, known by his imperial name Jahangir, was the fourth Mughal Emperor, who ruled from 1605 until his death in 1627. Jahangir was very good at strategizing and strengthening the Mughal empire but he was very much interested in arts, especially painting.
